There are always those that are serious about where you start with a bunch of class libraries or articles, and looking at new classes and manuals, which is all it takes to build advanced capabilities in the language you often use. It’s worth noting that a lot of classes we write to the highest tier of developers for architecture need to be advanced enough to deal with large numbers of common objects, etc. In making classes more suited for different applications I think there is value in looking for the best design if you need that sort of thing.
